Hmph!!! bought one a couple of years ago. Never had an incident till Monday this week when someone ran into the back of my car. No one injured fortunately but I need some repair work. Insurance company said do I have a dash cam.... hmmm thinks I ... yes I do... Checked it and when I opened it up and it said "memory full".... checked the footage and it stopped recording on Saturday.... Dash it!! oh well..
yup... just have to let the insurance company slug it out with the other party...

Mine just overwrites, 3 minute sections unless it's been locked.
