I think you'll find the forums run perfectly once we've upgraded on Monday night mate. So Tuesday onwards GMT.

You should run PG when you're connected to P2P programs, then turn it off alltogether otherwise IMO mate. It's just an IP blocker for P2P Prog's.

googlesyndication is the Google Ads you see, Google Adsense as they're known as. If it's blocking Google I'd say it's not doing it's job right as Google are BIG fans of fighting spam and are very against such Microsoft 'customer information gaining' systems that are built in Windows and the likes.

I scrapped my peerguardian and opted for simple firewalls to block the ports. It's much safer and WORKS RIGHT.

Time Warner Telecom Inc is AOL. I'd block that if I was a 'guardian' lol. Though again I don't think it's really blocking any personal information nor protecting you from anything.

I'd consider either configuring peerguardian to not block anything that's obviously not an intruder - or scrap it if you can't and find a better way to 'feel safe', which I think is what's happening when you see it block something - though it's only a reporter - not a proper block.

Keep me posted on other problems you experience though Marcus mate as I like to Iron the ones out that I am able to.

FindTrustedTradesmen.co.uk shouldn't give you the problems when browsing the forum now as I've removed the banners displaying the listings from the forum. Though the Alexa thing is only passing tracking data, nothing personal, and only to Alexa - apparently.

It'll only on the website another couple of months at this rate, just trying to get in the top 100,000 and then we'll call it a day. It's purely just about putting the banner on the website to get there - no real relation to actual traffic and site performance.

It is quicker isn't it. Still more tweaking to do yet too.
