Thought I better register on this site as seems to be where all the good advice is. It helps knowing someone to put a face to aswell. Are you raring to get out there and put all that info we learned over the last two days to use, more like back to real life eh.

Hi 'Dad, Yes you can enter the costs form your credit card, you haven't lost them, only the business related stuff though, and maybe also a proportion of your interest too if that can be worked out. The costs for mortgage and council tax etc can also be claimed and it is usually put down as home office expenses of some sort. This is assuming you work from home of course and not from dedictated premises.
I would be happy to do accounts and tax stuff for you if you wished. Distance is not really a problem, if that is your issue.
