What you might find is sometimes if a member starts getting over the top a whole thread may be deleted, instead of just the offending post, so you lose your posts in that thread too.

Oi steady on! lol.

The moderators stick hours into this site and I'd back them over a member anyday. BUT we are taking on a new moderation system which you can all get involved in!

From now on. Our mods will be moving threads in the wrong forum and removing posts that are spam advertisements or human orientated advertising (of many types - as people with a commercial interest in the forum should pay for sponsorship!).

Now here's where you come in too. If you see a post you think should be removed. Please click the Report Post button actually in the post and give a reason and we (the forum management) will discuss its fait out of view of the forum members and will take action if we feel the need to.

I guess if a post was removed from the Word Association thread that two people replied at the same time making the last reply invalid. But it is just a game lads... calm down.

Closing this thread now, if you have any problems EVER - you know where I am! (normally on here! if not, e-mail or PM me).
----
I thought I would reply to each response to this to make sure I missed nothing as it's an important topic related to the runnings of the forum and we don't want anything to get misunderstood.

Your comments mean everything to the forum and that's why we leave them alive... when they have no commercial interest. (There are more members on here trying to get your business than you would think!... Mark. lol).

Spot on. Always PM myself or a mod before posting in the forums as you did. I'll keep this topic alive though, as it deserves to be.

I did actually say that in confience and I'm not best please you posted it but I'll keep it (that's a false smile nearly lol). As I said we're dealing with your post and one of my own... which turned out to be an error in the system and not a moderator.

Too right. Posting a reply to a post that is all ready off-topic (known as a post being posted by a 'troll' perhaps) is dubbed 'feeding the trolls' and is just as bad. It causes the moderators to have to spend extra time now removing the replies to the original off-topic post... and often plenty of them. And if there are too many, the thread can loose its value and will simply be removed.

Perhaps due to two replies being submitted at one time causing the second to be rendered useless.

To add. Moderators CAN AND WILL remove ANY post or whole thread without prior notice and with no reason. We deserve this right as it would triple out time messaging everyboy involved and responding to their questions then and so on.

Moderators work on here for free or very little benefit to themselves. And given the fact they WANTED that position says they mean no harm when trying to keep the posts true, wanted and useful.
