Lovely work Alan, that ceiling is very bespoke. You'll need a proof of date picture for your entry to count. Get a picture of a daily paper in the room, it would be a shame if that entry didn't count.

All jotm entries need to have date proof.. to show it was completed within the the said Jotm... month , none compliance to this rule , will leave your entry as void..

Ok, something very different here, my private commission work finished in Dec, all glazed with a clear non-yellowing hybrid resin laquer that is meant to be completely weather and waterproof, hope you like it. And most of all I hope Michael (Strummerman) and his wife Debs will like it. The request was for: bright colours, flowers, butterflies, buddhist theme. I added the stone resin buddha and covered it in gold, used the buddhist wheel of life idea on the bowl, buddhist temple colours for the bold effects - all hand cut glass, some vitrified, some stained, and ready made weatherproof butterflies. It is still in three sections, the top places slightly off centre, by oversight, on some photos, it can be all cemented together nice and straight, or left as is in situ. I have his permission to post these now, so here goes:

Ooh! I just thought you're being strong not to peek! Well, it's sitting here, waiting for you to pick it up, nice and dry in my office. SO glad you like it, hope it is what you had in mind.... phew... I must admit, everyone else who's seen it thought it looked stunning indoors, too..

this months work is probably some of the best I seen for ages and congratulations to all who have entered, very impressed and really cant decide on which job I like the most and to be honest it will be a matter of taste rather than the standard of the execution as all are outstanding pieces of tiling . well done again to all

No Mike not epoxy, but it looks epoxy like becuase of the glaze which is about three times as thick than needed to be if it's going to live indoors

Oh, and as to how long? Don't even go there... According to my husband I really must get past this working for 50pence an hour threshold... he has a point.
