And we also have this month a set of knee pads donated by Sprung Ltd | Home
So many thanks to Sprung ltd for donating these..
All entries must either be date stamped on the pics entered or a news paper dated within the JOTM thread shown in one of the pics.
This is to prevent entries that were completed before the JOTM started etc, this is to make it fair for all who enter.
So if you enter pics and they are not as above then your entry will not count..
Just to add this is a competition that has been held in the hidden sub-forum ( The tilers arms) for a couple years now.. but is now to be held each month in the public Tiling forum as the standard of work is so high that the entries really need more exposure to the public..
We really hope more of you join in and let's see some cool pics of what you can do.... just remember that we do need to see a date stamp on those pics or a newspaper taken in the pics of the said work.. just to confirm it was done within the month of the JOTM..
Good on TF, I think this will show the general public just how much skill is involved in this trade. There are so many very talented people on this site.
got a trav floor to do next week, but no profiling needed,i would of paid your deisel to come up and practice on it if there was bri
No practice necessary, I spent half an hour with Daz so my training is complete On a serious note, I've got a load of trav in the garage to destroy, or if it turns out ok, sell them as stylish table mats

Its nearly the middle of October, and still no entries.....and its the first month open to the public
Well, I thought I would start it off. A wet room bathroom I finished today. It did use to be a bedroom, but they decided to move things around a bit. No expense was spared by my client in here.
I wont tell you how much the shower and bath controls were........but nearly as much as I charged for the underfloor heating in there (apologies for the towels and rugs everywhere, the client had just had a bath!)

Suprisingly not too long (from bare shell to what you now see)......about 3 1/2 weeks flat out, but had to wait for weeks for glass to be made to customers required sizes.

Nice job Blocko, I will finish a job tomorrow and will stick some pics on, just to make up the numbers. Don't worry Geoff, its pretty basic, come on guys and gals, get your entries in. JOTM needs you, big or small jobs, fancy or plain, it doesn't matter. We just love pics. You have to be in it to win it, I was lucky enough to win the first time I entered, and was gobsmacked. I was the new kid on the block back then. Still am compared to most esteemed members
Here's my entry, nothing special. But did use 21 bags of slc to get the floor flat, and that big table stayed in the room through out the job, it would not fit through the door. Tiles are 600x300 rectified edge polished porcelain
