Evening all
Bit of a dilema which to enter this month as have had two very enjoyable stone jobs
This is silver /grey travetine ensuite that i've just completed.
There intitial plan was just to do the shower enclosue area but with some suggestions this is the outcome and there over the moon with.
The cuts around the lintel and to the left of it had to be well champfered on a few sides to get the tile as close to the angled areas to avoid unsightly gaps.
Skirting board and an area around the door was bullnosed but very lightly polished(400 grade) to match the sheen on the face of the tile
Cheers for looking
Kev
Heres my entry for this month. Its a spa bath I tiled in the factory where it was made, everything is tiled and plumbed before moving it to site. The spas are made of fibre glass with a white gel coating, because of this PCI Collastic adhesive (epoxy) has to be used, along with Mosaico+ epoxy grout (deep joy). This bath also had steps and seat section which were joined together on site where I tiled the join.
The tiles are glass, glossy and non slip. Apart from full sheets in foot well the whole lot was done in single strips!
Yes, that WAS a tough choice, all of them being so very different from each other. In the end I chose the one that if time was not an issue I'd still find the hardest to do personally. But so well done all three of you
