The prize for this month is a GOODIE bag from Mapei uk....
And we also have this month ...
Here I go then , I finished this today
100m2 Polished Porcelain, fixed with Benfer flex rapido and grouted with PCI bahama beige.
They are in need of a better clean btw
here's my (revised) entry for this month. this room was done in high grade porcelain. my rubi wouldn't look at them, thank god for sigma! i did all the prep work too, including the framework for the bath, toilet and wall units. it's still not quite finished
Here is mine = small Victorian restoration nothing special but the lime based sub-floor/screed had broken up causing the Victorian Geometric tiles to crack up .
not as bad as some i've taken apart & put back together but i thought the forum might like to see that a floor like this can be saved.
The main damaged section was to the stairside see pics. this area had broken & loose tiles through the whole section, after the screed had been removed 6mm ply was screwed down to cover the gaps between the rough planks, any corners etc were sawn or cut down to flatten that plank, plastic dpm was put over the ply and then a self leveller to bring the base up to a height to accept the replacement tiles which are approx 12.5 mm in thickness.
the replacement tiles came from our stock and a neighbour who had a floor taken up some years ago.
the adhesive used was BAl flex, Bal flex grout and sealed with Dry-Treat.
Thanks for looking Cheers Steve

That's me voted and some cracking entries as usual. I would just like to ask the guys n gals that enter if you could post more pics of the prep-work as I find that just as interesting (if not more) as the finished article.
