The photographs of the black and white/grey marble floor do not do your work justice - I am sure if the images were sharper then the quality of your work would shine through. Could you please tell us something about how you went about the project, the preparation and in particular how you tackled the issue of cutting the detail of the super border especially around the lowest stair tread and double nosing on the double curve. I am impressed with the setting out - clearly a good deal of planning and due consideration went into the floor. I like it - a lot - well done. -- Looking forward to hearing more about it - thanks

Re: ** Time to Vote JOTM December 2010.**
I personally would love to have seen more pics of Darraghs floor, 3 is not much for a comp like this and how he went about cutting the curve etc! Come on Darragh I'm not the only one looking more info.

Does he have to justify his work.. and 3 pics is enough for this comp.. Not a sportsmanly way to go on..????

Re: ** Time to Vote JOTM December 2010.**
As it happens i was curious about the curve but dont think thats in anyway critical of the work. If that was the case i wouldnt have voted for him

Re: ** Time to Vote JOTM December 2010.**
I think his floor is sweet, it's in no way unsportsman to ask about the curves.
I know there is a hell of a lot of work involved in this and would just like to know how he went about it ?
No sour grapes either as i'v won comp a few times now, a real good tiler mate of mine done a very similar surround on a bullnose a few weeks ago so i have a rough idea what he went through and it wasn't easy.
Well done Darragh anyway.

Re: ** Time to Vote JOTM December 2010.**
Thanks Darragh, my buddy cut his by hand mostly and used the polisher etc to finish them off.
I have a good factory near me too who can do wonders with all tiles. Lol.
Well done anyway, lovely floor.
