| Tiler needed in Middx | | Hi All
Hope its ok to advertise, but started to feel a bit shameful keep asking you guys all these questions.
50sq metre(48.5 actual) of 600 x 600x 10 non rectified beige polished porcelain tiles. Not B&Q. New open plan kitchen/lounge diner - half of area is good level concrete screed - 7 weeks old and ready. Other half is old very sound concrete floor again level and ready to start.
Pref. start w/c 4th Feb 2008.
Can anyone quote for complete job. I'm rubbish at tiling but know what is needed thanks to this forum and just want a good professional job.
I went to my local large tile shop who said they could'nt recommend someone but could give me a list of names ! I understand the legal implications.
However from this list we had one young guy who quoted so little for the job - and so underestimated for the materials it was ridiculous. One who thought our tiles were ceramic and they are 60 x 60 non rectified porcelain!!! The last chap who wanted to use non flex. grout and unibond!
We are in middx and need the job done pref. w/c 4th Feb.
Any ideas. I tried this siteoriginally but nothing came up for our postcode.

Couldn't be exact without seeing it obviously, but somewhere around that mark.
