    Default Tiler ayrshire

    Hi,

i've just moved in to a new build and was planning to tile kitchen, utility room, cloak room (all stone floors) and 2 upstairs bathrooms (? Flooring type - wooden boards). The area is approx 22sqm. I have heard there can be movement in new houses that can damage tiles - is this an issue? What is the best matieral to use - we had been looking at porcelain? And finally what would the cost be (roughly) for fitting?

    Hi Kelly

we don't discuss fitting prices or costs in an open forum. Your safest option would be to obtain around 3 quotes from local professionals and ask them the above questions and consider the answers that they give you.

If any members of TF are in the Ayrshire area and would like to help Kelly with this job, please private message Kelly directly.

    Thanks
