Guildford 2 bathrooms and large conservatory needed urgently!
Hi,
We require a tiler for the following project near Guildford in Surrey....all walls and floors are currently bare as we are doing other building work, so removal of existing flooring/tiles are not required. The sizes below are the approx actual sizes and do not include extra for cutting:
1 large conservatory/kitchen, approx 30m2 floor. There is currently chipboard laid in the conservatory, so this will require plywood installed prior to laying tiles in this area. The tiles are 60x60 porcelin.
1 bathroom, approx 7m2 floor and 25m2 walls. There is waterproof plywood and electric underfloor heating in this room, however it needs waterproofing with something like waterproof rubber paint (eg aquadefense). We will use 30x30 slate tiles for the floor and 60x60 porcelin tiles for the wall. We would like the shower area tiled in mosaic (as a wet area) which is approx 80cm x 130cm in floor size (and required for walls in this area also). The floor should already be levelled, however the shower area will need levelling around the waste.
1 ensuite, approx 4.5m2 floor and 10m2 walls. There is waterproof plywood and electric underfloor heating in this room, however it needs waterproofing with something like waterproof rubber paint (eg aquadefense). We will use 30x30 slate tiles for the floor and 60x60 porcelin tiles for the wall.
Ideally both bathrooms will need some sort of mesh wiring laid underneath for strengthening the floors. And one window in each bathroom will also require the ledge trimming so that it is flat against the wall for tiling on (we can get the builders to do this if required).
1 cloakroom approx 2m2 floor. This will be tiled in 60x60 porcelin tiles.
oh amd my wife is 8.5 months pregnant and we are looking to move into the house asap!! so the tiling is required urgently, the rooms will be ready for tiling from around the 16th May!
I think that is everything! Let me know if you need any more details!
Peter
