Re: Closing threads
Pretty much what David has said Chris. Also if you get a few tilers that are desperate for work it could lead to animosity in public forum and bickering.

Re: Closing threads
yes i get that side of things but would it make sence that the person who started the thread can add / update the info on the job etc or bump the thread again to gain more interest !
the feedback side of things needs to be a looked at as well cause its all fine when a job goes well but we need to address the fact not every job will be a success and like it or not the company/ tiler need feedback especially if it bad so they can take it on board

Re: Closing threads
But it's not a discussion section of the forum Chris, just a notice board kind of thing. Maybe best if you pm Dan or Dave for a more detailed explanation

Re: Closing threads
If you wanted to add anything to the original thread, a PM to one of the mods or Admin would be the best way.
As stated we do "cloese" the thread as we dont want to start a discussion in a public area and therefore we suggest the PM system. We also make the thread a "Sticky" so that it stays at the top of the list and doesnt get lost among others.
As for any feedback then that should be started as a new thread entirely.
Any other problems just give me a shout , you know I am only here to help
