Talking I would like to recommend my tiler from West Yorkshire

    Hi there.

I have been trying to find places to review my tiler after initially having a nightmare of a time finding one! Didnt know about this forum!! Think its great to get some reviews before you hire someone.

I had several people out to give me quotes for tiling my bathroom after we were unhappy with the guy our builder recommended. Eventually my hairdresser (of all people) suggested someone who had done the tiling in her salon.

We called him for a quote and he was fantastic.... Professional, polite & on time!! The quote he gave us was middle of the road compared to what we'd had already, but he explained everything to us really well and sounded like he knew what he was on about. He even took his shoes off when he came into our house which had me impressed!

The job he has done is faultless. We had spent a lot of money on our bathroom suite and wanted a really classy looking job in natural stone. He made some suggestions which i'd not considered and i'm so glad he did because it looks great and so much better than if we'd done it how i'd initially thought.

Really really pleased. Even more so this morning when I got a letter from him thanking us for our business etc. Wanted to recommend him to people as I know how hard it is to find someone.

I think he is based in the Cleckheaton area of West Yorkshire but we live about 25 miles from there so I assume he covers most of the reigon.

Please mention me when you phone as i might get a discount when we do the kitchen next year!!

Laura. I would assume that this section IS for the back patting of members of the Tilers Forum but that's what makes this Tilers Forum such a great place. Anyone can thank/recommend anyone and at the end of the day your post is extra special because it is promoting not just a 'good' tradesman in Rhys but our industry in particular as there can be too many nightmare stories so thanks again for your thread.
It would be great to see some pictures of your bathroom and you should make sure that Rhys is aware of your contact with Tilers Forum as he may find it is a fantastic way of promoting an industry that we have pride in.
Thank you for taking the time to post.

Eeeerm, I don't think we've come across this problem before as I'm pretty sure all recommendations in the past have been forum members.

However, if a tiler has done agoodjob and somebody is shouting about it I'm not going to stop them. Plus, looks like you're a forum members now so that'll do me.

I'll email the guy and ask him to join, we get the tilers discounts from many suppliers and the likes, and it's free. So worth it for many tilers.

    Thanks once again.
