Procedure Enquiry
WAS OUT TODAY WITH A TIME SERVED TILER OF 25 YEARS TO GAIN VALUABLE EXPERIENCE. AS A NEWBIE (DONE NETT COURSE IN JAN)I WAS OVER THE MOON AT BEING INVITED OUT WITH THIS GUY INTO THE REAL WORLD OF TILING!
QUITE SHOCKED ACTUALLY WITH REGARDS TO NO USE OF PRIMER, 6MM PLY NAILED ON FLOORS ETC. BUT MY MAIN QUESTION IS ABOUT ADHESIVE BED. HE WAS USING DISPERSION ADDY WITH LARGE FORMAT CERAMIC WALL TILES APPLIED WITH A HALF CIRCLE FLOOR TROWEL. TRIED TO ASK POLITELY BOUT CURING DEPTH OF DISPERSION ADDY (4mm I THINK) BUT WAS TOLD THAT WAS JUST COURSE NONSENSE. THINK I WILL PLOD ALONG ON MY OWN TO START WITH. MIGHT B A BIT SOWER BUT LEAST IT WILL BE BY THE BOOK.

Re: Procedure Enquiry
Cheers Mate I Thought As Much.
Was Very Dissapointed With What I Saw. Though The End Result Looked Good The Behind The Scenes Stuff Was Shocking.
This Guy Just Laughed When I Was Asking Bout Weight Ratios And Stuff. Made To Feel Like A Right Newbie!
Thanks Again
