    Default Preparing concrete floor

    Hi all,

I'm preparing my concrete kitchen floor (12 sq mtr) before it gets tiled with porcelain tiles (2ft x 1ft).

There used to be vinyl tiles but we ripped them up when we first bought the house, I have removed most of the old adhesive with a chisel but there's still some patches that are on solid.

I've swept the floor and have sponged it all down with a bucket of water and was thinking of putting some SLC down before it gets tiled. Is there anything else I should do before/after the SLC goes down and is there any particular type I should buy?

    Thanks
