Default Adhesive suitable for tiling inside a fireplace.

Any advice please as to suitable adhesive to use for putting tiles on the inside of a newly constructed fireplace, prior to having wood burning stove installed. All I can seem to find in B & Q and other stores is waterproof adhesive suitable for kitchens and bathrooms. Would this withstand the heat from the stove? Would prefer ready mixed adhesive as it would be difficult for me to mix up powder as I have no suitable mixer. Any advice welcomed.

Welcome along, you really need a powdered, single part flexible adhesive. I wouldn't trust any tubbed stuff around that temp.

If you have a tile giant in your area, go in there and ask for a bag of keraquick, that'll do the job, for you.

as above keraquick would be a good choice. Just ensure that it is fully set before using the stove
