    Can anyone help?
I am having a guy tiling my bathroom and I have some concerns. At first he wanted to tile on top of wallpaper now the tiles haven't all got spacers on and are uneven although he says he will come round tomorrow and put right!
Any advice as we have already given some money.
    Thanks

I think I would of told him to get his horse when he wanted to tile onto the wallpaper. How's he going to put the spacing right once the addy's set? Well apart from ripping it all off again.

Perhaps one of the guys on here is near to you and can sort you out, they certainly take pride in their work, I bet your tiler won't be posting pictures for everyone to see.

All above answers are so right, why don't you post where your from and someone on here will put you right with a proper tile fixer. As soon as he said ontop of the wallpaper your alarm bells should have deafend you.

Has he left all his tools ? If so,then keep them till he puts job right or refunds money.
If taken all his tools, then you might not see him again.

As you can't correct wonky tiles the next day once the adhesive has set and if they are unacceptable I would use a scraper, take them off the wall, scrape off the adhesive from the wall and give a try at scraping off the tile backs in a few tubs of water.

If he says that he can rectify them tomorrow I would be prepared to kiss my spent cash goodbye.
