Default Identify an old cermaic mottled tile

    Hi,

One of the tiles in my kitchen has just cracked so I've pulled it up to try and identify it thinking there would be a brand name on the back of the tile but all I found was the letter "C" in a long rectangle followed by "made in italy". Now these tiles are quite old so I'm not holding out for much but just thought it might be worth posting this wuestion before I give up.

If anyone out there knows what the manufacturer might be please reply

    to the Tilers Forum.

As a complete long shot you could try posting a photo of said tile.
Anything old from Italy could well be a non starter and your reference 'c' doesn't give enough information.
    Good Luck.
p.s. - keep the forum link for when you want it retiled - there will be someone in your area you can contact.

For younger members, chicken tiles were an old 4"x4" or 6"x6" made by Johnsons. They had a vein that looked like a chicken
