Tileing on ply walls?
Hi guys newbie here and have a couple of qustion 
1) what prep should be made when tileing on plywood walls im useing WPB 1/2'' board,should i pva unibond the walls or use something else?
2) im tileing a full bathroom for the first time, there is a window on 1 wall and the dorr on the other the other 2 are bare, how should i start, should i start on the window wall and work my way round?
thanks in advance sorry if the questions are stupid

Firstly you would be better if you joined the forum and then any of your posts would not have to be approved first 
Second, have you done ANY tiling before ?
Third...Dont mention PVA around here....we may have to send the boys around.

LOL ok sorry guys thats the last time il mention the 'P' word
but whats wrong with the stuff?, ye done tileing before but not on ply walls before and not a full bathroom
think i will join the forum but maybe later on the way out soon

Whys that mate? what should be used instead? i should have mentioned its in a shower room, cant really use plasterboard as its for a disabled customer so need something solid to fix grab rails ect to, thats why i thought of useing ply?

The trouble is mate your postd need approving my one of the mods or admin. Until then other forum members cant see your posts. So please register and get all the info you require.
The problem with PVA is that when it gets wet it revert to a dilute state and thats bad news. There are a number of special tile primers available at a small cost.
I would be tanking those areas myself.
