    Question external corners

hello all ive got a question i hope you can help me with i paid someone to lay tiles around my bath and did not like what he done so i ripped them down and am attempting to lay them myself this is the first time ive done any tiling and im pleased with my results but have come across somthing im not sure about i have boxed in the pipes at the end of the bath and have started to tile the boxing where the 2 sides meet "ie" the side panel and the top panel at this point im unsure weather to use a tile trim or just lay the tiles square with eachother "ie" just lay the top tile over the side tile and have the 2 edges flush and grout the edge in when it comes to grout it is that the wrong way to do it? any help would be appeciated
    regards tilenoobie

what was it like before you ripped it out? the setting out of the tiles, ie if tiler has worked out from ext corner with a full tile on each side, you'll be limited to what you can do. Can you post some photies?

as above tile trim leaves a neat finish unless they are natural stone!

Both ways are good and it depends on your own preference..if you're not good at cutting angles and are working to a budget, don't use trim and just lay the top horizontal tile over the vertical tile..if the tile has a glazed edge, make sure that is showing..

this is how I finished a boxed bath panel, with a square edged trim, looks well imo
