grouting square edged tiles in the

I am proposing to lay 600x600 polished porcelain floor tiles, they have square edges as opposed to normal floor tiles with slightly bevelled/rounded edges, what is the best width of ... -

grouting square edged tiles
I am proposing to lay 600x600 polished porcelain floor tiles, they have square edges as opposed to normal floor tiles with slightly bevelled/rounded edges, what is the best width of spacer & grout to use, I usually use a flexi rubber grout float is this o.k

on a concrete floor it can be done with as little as a 2mm spacer,if it is a plywood floor then 3mm+
