bathroom tiling
Hi, wonder if anyone can give me some advice on bathroom tiling. If you are putting the same range/size tiles on both the wall and the floor should the gaps in the tiles be the same or does the gaps in the floor tile need to be wider for any reason, and also should the tiles on the floor follow on down from the wall or should they be staggered. Thanks

Re: bathroom tiling
this all should be discussed with your tiler before he starts.if the joints are to run from floor to walls then same size joints have to used.it is usually slower to do a bathroom like this but looks well finished.i have done a few like it but was all agreed first with customer.wider joints in your floor might be for possible movement? What substrate are the tiles on?

if the wall and floor tiles are not going to match, make them staggered so it doesnt look as if you tried to match them but failed~ if you know what I mean
