I have an internal manhole cover in the middle of my kitchen where I wanted to lay floor tiles.
Can anybody let me know where I can get a drain cover that I can lay tiles into which will not look too bad

Most Builders Merchants will be able to get them for you if you explain your needs for an internal fill cover plate type/manhole cover.
You may be able to get a local blacksmith to make one to size and some engineering works can do the same from lighter alloys -again made to measure.

Inset manhole, You would have to remove frame and cover and replace. They have air tight seals for internal works, odours

as tj says any builders merchant, come in various 'depths' to suit different tiles
There is a company we use that make internal aluminium access covers.
light load to heavy. you would need the 3500 series.
company is Howe Green LTD.
site is www.howegreen.co.uk
hope this is any use to you.
