Just a quickie..
Is it advisable to use mirror adhesive to fix a large mirror to polished porcelain tiles?
Or would it be safer to use mirror clips or screws as well?
Many thanks in advance.

If you stick it on make sure the edges are sealed cos when I did this many moons ago I did not seal round the edges and it held onto the damp and went mouldy. I would use corner clips or mirror screws myself now cos I can then take them off and clean behind every so often.

I would use the corner clips....nice chrome ones....or if the tiling wasn't done yet you could have inset it into the wall tiles...![]()

A glazier told me once, always run straight beads of adhesive, not circular lines, if that makes sense. So, when you stick the mirror to the wall...........their is No CHANCE OF AIR BEING TRAPPED, Which can, and does push the mirror away from the wall.
I know wot I mean anyway![]()
Many thanks guy's, i think i'll stick a couple of mirror clips on the top corners and some strait lines of adhesive too.
Cheers..

mirror adhesive is fine

Doug had one in my showroom 4 times the size stuck on with mirror adhesive no prob

I would recommend you put the mirror clips on the BOTTOM corners![]()

Is the mirror sitting on a worktop or to be fully held by mirror adhesive to the polished porcelain?
Is the back of the mirror waterproofed?
