Re: which tiler insurance?
like previous posts this depends on where you work.
If you work on residents housing you have to consider on entering and damaging any fixtures and fittings. are you a 1 man band? and so on .The cover you would probally need would be in the 1 -2 million cover range which might cost you in the region of £500 up to £800 yr.
commercial you need to up your cover to 5 million you will need this for any supermarket /airport / lul station and is £1200 - £1600 yr
The company i last worked for had 30k yr cost for 9 man crew for any lul work and that was before you even got a tender excepted .So shop around and find the appropiate one for you.

Re: which tiler insurance?
As Rock says it depends on what sort of work you do.
Do you use a naked flame? do you use sub-contractors? will you be removing any plumbing fixtures?
The higher your excess the cheaper your payment will be.
Recommend at least £2m with around a £500 excess, for that I pay £200 a year.
