Hi Robert, i did the NETT course about two and a half years ago. This really is a very good course, well structured and enjoyable. Since the course ive done wet rooms, spas, gyms, public toilets, hotels, business offices, worked away from home, using from glass tiles to granite and everything in between. The course is really informal and Darren, the course instructor has a wealth of experience that he crams into 5 days. If you need any info give me a bell on 07947868248. Thanks Mick.

I know there diffrent courses, but I'm starting the 4 week course with Diamond in West Sussex on Monday. the way I look at it is your better off paying for some one to teach you the right way to do things and gain a good reputation form doing great work than from doing a one week course and then bodging jobs and never getting recommended to any one.

known fact that recommendations are the best form of advertising.... Its Free!!!

It's up to the individual to make the best of what ever course he or she goes on. Don't consider myself a bodger Dean (and over 80% of work is word of mouth)

your very probably not, but I cant comment as I've not seen your tiling my self. My post dose sound a little harsh. soz didn't mean it like that.

But there is a limit on what you you can teach/learn in a given period of time. The more time you have the more you can be tort/learn.

What ever gets missed out the tiler will have to use other resources to learn from i.e. Here, books, DVDs, YouTube.

Nett is a very good starting point but don't stop there take yourself further with other courses to advance yourself. It means spending some serious money but it will pay for itself in the end

If you do the course and branch out into tiling use the resources avaliable , such as the adhesive manufacturers technical helpline and these forums as you should never be to proud to ask because help is never far away.

Thanks Guys, I Dont mind hard graft, I'm a quick learner and think most of you have confirmed what I thought, that the NETT course is a good start point.
I do intend to start of small and simple or hook up with someone more experianced, so I reckon it's NETT for me + further courses as required.
I will also be joining this forum as I've already discovered some great info, amazing how you get sucked into the manufacturers sites, never thought adhesive could be so interesting lol
