    Default general question

hi, i have a question if anyone is willing to answer, i have 25cmx33cm tiles which are going to be 33 vertical, im beginning to tile my bathroom, My main issue is should i leave the cuts by the ceiling which would be around 14cm or should i try and cut in around wash basin and bath. I know its a hard question to answer because you cant see the wall, Any advice would be apperieciated.
    thanks.

Basically would you generally have a nice line around bath and basin or cuts to compensate around top of wall?
    thanks Jon

If you want to leave the cuts to the ceiling is entirely upto to you, If you can take out the wash basin would better for tiling, If it's left in will need cutting. Hope I understood the question

my wash basin is built into a unit(storage cupboard), im only a new starter to tiling and i just wondered whether people generally leave cuts for the top of wall, if i do leave cuts for top of wall i will have two cuts around window which will look crap, i think i just answered my question! i think if i can get away with cutting in around basin unit and having a bigger cut at the top it may look better... thanks for your advice.

Have you checked whether the ceiling or bath are level? If one of them is, you're a lucky man (or woman). If not, you'll have to cut both in.

Hi guys, tiling went well, just a few to go, got a exact line from the bath to wash basin( basically 1 tile up fom bath is straight inline with the sink so i went with those lines). Thanks for your time, Much apperieciated. Jon

Hi, I am doing up my bathroom and kitchen at the moment and I was looking at some porcelain tiles, from acorn tiles.

I am a bit nervous about buying tiles over the internet and was just wondering if anybody here had ever used them before and nows if there any good?

I've not bought tiles over the net,but plenty of other stuff without probs, are you worried about the tiles or the vendor? personally I'd google the vendor and the product to get some feedback

Look for contact details, not a PO box a proper address, if not then stay well clear.
The only way we wil know if non-slip is by looking at the tiles, can you post a picture.
