Which one would you experts choose?
I am not very knowledgeable with regards to tiles so I'm banking on your expertise here, if anyone can help.
I'm about to purchase some tiles and am still undecided since you don't get much honest info on the quality of the tile from a salesman trying to sell his product.
I have to choose one of three brands...
- GAYAFORES [Spanish]
- IMOLA [Italian]
- COLORKER [Spanish]
Which would you suggest is the most likely to endure the test of time? I'm trying to stay away from Chinese-manufactred tiles.
All are of the same design, dimension and colour.
Thanks a lot in advance.

Re: Which one would you experts choose?
I cannot give you much advice on Gayafores and Imola but we stock Colorker and I would definately rate their quality. The Italian and Spanish do tend to be the best for quality compared to other origins, but you do have to pay the price for it so if you're looking for top quality you will usually recognise it by it being the most expensive! White biscuit is usually better than red biscuit for wall tiles, thickness of the tile can usually help tell with porcelain.
If possible, ask to see different batches. The better the quality, the less variance between batches - Colorker ranges vary little whereas ranges from Alaplana (another Spanish factory we deal with) vary considerably.
Hope that helps!

ive used colorker since they have been in this country and have pretty much always been happy with there quality ie:good for size no faults and they now have some really excellent porcelain in large format the wood and slate effect are top draw.

All are of the same design, dimension and colour.
In which case they probably all come from the same line, as a result what it says on the box doesnt matter, choose the one you are most comfortable with.
There are no experts on here just knowledgeable people still willing to learn.........
