Bit more info needed, what tiles are you fixing etc, substrate your fixing onto. and a bit more about you.

The bathroom floor is just as described. It's an old bathroom that I am refurbing in my own 1920's house, after many years 'nudging' by my wife. The floor is a bit screed, a few vinyl self stick tiles (I guess around 1970's) which are firmly stuck down (blue vein type) and the rest ancient marley tiles which are very secure (red and black alternates). The whole floor area is only about 5ft X 10ft.
I am not a tiling pro. I am a C&G level 2 plumber, (still studying) with zilcho work-hence the time to do the floor tiling myself and no readies to pay anyone else. Have done the handyman bit for a few years (never floor tiling - it's never come up). Tiles are Wicks white with a feint veining - not a special or stone, bog standard. That's it.
