Discuss Tiling on fireboard? in the Guest Area at TilersForums; Hi. Just been out to quote a job and the builders used fireboard as a background. If I use bal flexi would I need to prime this first. Thx Ross...

    I take it you mean the red one, What tiles size are you putting up on the board

    On their moisture resistant board 32kg m2 so check the weight of the tiles m2, Would prime then use spf and remember the weight of the adhesive and grout so go for a tile weight of 28kg m2

    Sbr is fine which is what bal bond is or you could use bal APD
