I am about to fit a new kitchen, should I tile before or after fitting the cooker hood and units (I will not have any wall units just base units and a couple of larder height floor standing units). I obviously wouldn't bother tiling behind areas which are hidden but I'm thinking about the worktop butting up against the tiled surface - would that be a problem? On the other hand cutting round the cooker hood looks like it could be tricky. | ||

Fit the units prior to tiling but leave the cooker hood off til after you have tiled would be my advice. | ||||||||||
