I have started this group to see if anyone else would like to join.

Just wondering how tilers are finding it out there at the moment and if they are busy. Feel free to join this group and start your own discussions on whatever topics you like.

I think it depends on what market you are in, i know quite a few fixers in our area and they are really quiet.. i have quite few contacts built up over the years, so tend to do ok work wise..

It's certainly been the most difficult period for work that I've noticed for many years, and the prices are becoming tighter and the enquiries fewer.
What it does mean is an even greater professionalism being required to convert those enquiries into contracts and a desire to look harder at all overheads and practices in order to win your fair share.
