Trying to figure the best solution using a flat trim. Any suggestions.

No pics sorry. Havn't tiled it yet. Was tanking today. So far the best solution I've come up with is to slot the back of the trim into the gap between the tile boards so it doesn't get pushed oout of angle . Hard to explain without a pic

Might try draw something to explain

Rather than a square edge trim you could mitre the tile edges, or use a ramp type trim or even a pencil bar/ listello type strip.

Difficult for me to make out what your trying to achieve tbh.
But you could mitre the back of the tile your holding it against and that will swing the front face round. If that's what you're trying to do.

It's the back of the trim that causes the problem. It's hitting the board. Stopping me from squaring it up. Think my choices are to pack out the leading edges of the tile to lessen the angle a bit or bend the trim or cut of part of the back of it

Yeah just cut it off with snips.
