Re: underfloor heating thermal primer
We always say put a mechanical barrier of sort between asphalt and underfloor heating. This is needed to keep the heat away from the asphalt, to stop the asphalt warming up/becoming soft. Would a thin layer of primer do that job????

Re: underfloor heating thermal primer
Hi,
I bought some of the thermal primer a while back until I was convinced by you guys on here to use boards instead which I will be doing. As I have the primer anyway is there any reason/advantage in using it anyway on the Marmox boards before fitting the UFH?

No advantage over the Marmox, save it for a dusty floor.

Re: underfloor heating thermal primer
Thanks Keith,
is that because it basically doesn't work or it just won't add any more thermal value to the board, just interested to know.
Cheers,
Roland
