Discuss sticky tape for heating cable? in the Electric Underfloor Heating at TilersForums; I need some of the sticky tape that you stick the heating cable to the floor with. it looks like duct tape but is only about 19mm wide.

sticky tape for heating cable?
I need some of the sticky tape that you stick the heating cable to the floor with. it looks like duct tape but is only about 19mm wide.
Does anyone know where you can get it from? I need enough to do 450 linear meters.

I would get a wide roll and cut it on my band saw.

Just use the 50mm wide rolls and cut 19mm lengths off..

Down here in NZ we the underfloor heating guys use a hot glue gun, tried it myself works a treat.

I use a hot glue gun, quicker and a lot easier.

Doesnt the heat from the glue damage the cable....?
