    Default Multi - Meter , thinking of buying this one

    Will this be cool for checking the circuit and measuring resistance

    You are only really concerned with resistance readings so something with that many settings is way over the top, but at the price it should certainly tick your boxes. I got mine from screwfix for around 5 or 6 quid and does all that I need.

    Do I need a separate curcuit alarm then? I thought this would do that as well as measure resistance

    depends on what location you go to Darwin doesnt drop below 27 so no need down Melbourne way yes its been available for quite a few years down here the rules on installation vary from state to state to some you can install some must be done by sparky

    To install Electric UFH you really need a Multimeter to check for the required resistance before laying. Then the tester that Jays mentions while laying...2 different items....One measures a resitance value the other a break in the circuit.
