Default UFH and Tile Safe Tanking.

Went to see a job today a plumber (who I have done a lot of work for) is preparing a wet room Aqua tray with tile safe tanking.

The customer has decided they want ufh on the tray with the black tanking, not the reccomended one, so no guarantee there then.

The ufh will be giving out 160 watts per m2 and this is for the whole floor not just the tray.

Any advise on this, not really come across ufh on the tray before and neither has the plumber.

Not me fixing it though but the plumber is.

Default Re: UFH and Tile Safe Tanking.

I went through this a year or 2 back, I called Impey and they said it was fine ...they did say it was to be a Devi UFH though but i guess that what was shown in their adverts at the time.

I didnt do the job in the end though so I have no more info, sorry.
