    Default Tiling in Dubbo,NSW

    Hi

My partner and i are moving to a place called Dubbo, NSW in August/September time. I'm getting in on her permenant visa. I've done a NE Tiling training course in Britain, which is an Asset recognised course, equivalent to an NVQ2. I've also done quite a few jobs since that course. Has anyone got contacts for tilers in that area who will maybe give me a job??

    regards
    Allstar

dubbos a decent size town so there should be a few tile shops there, some may employ tilers/labourers or be able to put you on to somebody elsse.forget about going self employed in nsw as you need cert level 3 and many years on the job to have any hope of getting a licence.

    WOW!!

    Is that right??

Here in WA, you do not need a licence to tile. Maybe that will be coming soon though, as WA do seem to be pretty strict on most things.

Plumbers, electricians, gas fitters and painters cannot work without a licence though.
