When i was over there it was easy, i am sure i did it online. Just gave my self a business name and they gave me a number, certificate came through the post. I did go to the tax office with some ID but they were great and most helpful.

we live in a very quiet village just outside Bournemouth but its getting busyer and busyer worried in years to come we will be living next to an industrial est.

i myself have never been to oz (must be mad your thinking) but speaking to many people who have some not liking perth themselves. perth sounds like my kinda city. very clean, very low crime but still has the beauty of the east/south coast.

also WA is still booming from the mining. so I'm thinking the building/housing growth will carry on there because there are still loads of people moving to WA to work in the mines.

sorry to be the beaer of bad news but they are laying off thousands of minners at the momment what do you do now

thats the 1st i've heard of that but either way were a long way off migrating as ive not started tiling yet. its going to be a long haul but we have come this far i'm sure we will get there in the end!

i started my own business window cleaning 2 years ago thinking i'd get a business visa if i started a similar business in oz. but being the wolly i am i didn't research enough and didn't know you need to have $200,000 turnover £100,000 business assets.

although window cleaning is very well paid there's not much chance of me turning over $200,000 a year after being up and running just 4 years.

so 2 years wasted but this time round i'm reading in to everything!

keep at it im sure it will be worth it when the sun is beating on your back are you using an agency to get your visa thats what we did but i think its a lot harder now

there's a fella who comes on here called migrate. spoke to him on the phone and he was very helpful so when the time comes shall be giving him a shout. i also spoke-ish to go Matilda, found them very unhelpful as soon as i said i didn't have a skilled job they realised they weren't going to get any dosh from me for at least 4 years and got very little advise/feed back.

dont have any job to go to it has slowed up over there going over in 2 weeks only for 3 weeks to check how our house and sort the pool out ive been offerd 2 to 3 jobs every time ive been out there i dont only do tiling

my plan is to carry on window cleaning once i get over there. i've spoke via email to loads of oz window cleaners and they all say its very hard to find good staff. the going rate for a well trained window cleaner is $35 per hour. bit less than i earn here but it will be worth it to live in a good climate. the only draw back of my job is the British weather! lol

any idea roughly how much it has cost ya to build your own home including plot, plans, fee's? what kinda work you planning to do in oz?

the house will end up costing 1.3 million dollers but it will be a nice place when finished as for work dont know been a tiler for 20 years can also render,screed lay resins amtico and altro just laying tiles gets boring

In your opinion paying 1.3 to build how much would it of cost ya to buy a similar house. in other words is it much cheaper to build your own than to buy ready built?

my wife and i know we will probaly never own a plaice but a good sized 4x2 would be nice. we currently own via morgage a two bed semi in a lovely village buts its valued at £200,000 and its tiny. the garden is as big as a double garage, the bathroom is so small if i stand in the middle i can touch all four walls. i'm sure you know the kinda place.

you can get a nice place for 400/500 thousend dollers good garden and a pool have you looked on the web at what you can gat for your money

i've seen what for offer looks great. i do worry about getting a morgage over there though. my house is valued at 200 but my morgage is for 130 i shall be taking as much of the equity over but will probably have to rent for a couple of years to prove my income i suspect!

been over 4 times for a total of 17 weeks

i cant help but think i'm a bit crazy going through all this without even visiting. but i want a better life for my little girl so its what i've got to do.

i would visit first its a big step having second thoughts my self gona miss my friday night out on the beer and curry
