Im an Aussie in London at the moment. At home had to do 4 year appreticeship then had to get a licence to work for a respectiable tiling company. May its different in perth as im from syd.. BUT you need a licence to do work.. You can apply by doing a one off test at a collage to show you can do all that they ask.
BUt then it all depends on who your going to be working for, if its all under the table well you have nothing to worry about just et amongst it...

hi jeff i was in perth in feb for i month validating our visas.
we are staying in carine but looking at staying in duncraig/greenwood.
i belive there is no exam for wa.
what say it need a hand.

duuude, you're going to do a 4 week course? while everybody else in oz has to do a 4 year apprenticeship?? good luck. Just make sure you dont tell any union boys over here that you only done a course
