Default Question

Hi all,
I have a job coming up in the southern hemisphere soon and I am located in Canada.
I have been looking for a flexible grout system and found one in New Zealand, but I have zero experience with them.
Actually I have never heard of them before, but they have some affiliation with Roberts who are a big company.
So my question is has anybody any experience with RLA products?
Are their products all they say?
Are their products nice to work with?

Maybe there is something better which you may know of.
The job is in Dubai and I don't want to ship product from North America so I thought I would shop around your neck of the woods.
I need a flexible grout system as I am putting tiles into modulars which will be moved around and I don't want to have issue with repairs after each move.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers.

Default Re: Question

Hi sean,

I've used RLA and personally I'd stay away from it I found there Bagged adhesive full of rubber crumb (Hard to clean up) there non-slump tub adhesive WOULD SLUMP and as for grouts they were hard to mix very gritty in partical size was hard on my skin colour range was limited and clean up was also hard going.

the one good point and I assume this is what attracted you to there products (It did me) was the price (Quite cheap) but you really don't get quality bang for buck I'd stick to a well known and proven products such as mapei or laticrete if I was to do a job abroad.
