depending on budget you cud put in a schluter stair nose to highlight the step. these have a rubber grip and come in different widths and make a safe finish to the edge. Alternatively make a wedge shape ramp from a bit of timber to tuck under the carpet so levels meet then trim off with carpet to tile trim. |
