I think you are right, Sir Ramic. Just looking back at his original post about this job with the pic, it appears that the bottom part of the wall had already been tiled up to the border tiles. What we can't see from the photo is if the black tiles grout lines matched up prior to TS taking up the job. It is quite possible that the grout lines not matching at the corner is not his fault at all.

Maybe he is trying to make the best of a bad position and has come on here seeking advice. By his own admission he is new to the trade, and yes maybe the cuts around the arch are a little rough, but I am really disappointed at some of the posts made attacking him!

Lets try and help the guy to do the best job he can by being constructive in any criticism, not just lambasting him for poor workmanship, some of which may not even have been his!
