Default pricing but losing out

howdy peeps,,done a few quotes recently but sem to be losing all the work, please advise me if you think this is too expensive,, a kitchen splashback 0.6m by 6 metres,,kitchen floor 7.5 m sq,,bath floor 3 m sq,,and bath walls in brick effect at 6.5 m sq i also included materials in this price and gave them a total price of 610 pounds,,now i dont think that is expensive, based in edinburgh,i know people are saying charge 22 pounds a sq metre inc materials but i dont think this is a feasable price anymore considering costs for fuel, travel, depending on cuts etc on job etc etc every job is different? any advice or views peeps much appreciated
