Re: Should I remove plaster skim? | | the skim plaster can cause problems especially as you are introducing the tanking matting its not ideal and you need to ask yourself is it worth the risk of the job failing and you having to foot the bill to replace the tiles ,matting and probably the cost of plumber to take the sanitary ware out while you redo the job . no one on this forum will tell you to go ahead and cut corners so its up to you ,i have tiled limestone tiles on skim plaster and its been fine but why risk it ? |
