VW T4 Transporter, not too big, not too small. You can get an 8 foot by 4 foot sheet of ply in the back, even on a swb. Smaller than a transit, good for getting up domestic driveways. Pretty reliable, although can be fairly expensive 2nd hand compared to other vans of the same age. We use a transit also but I much prefer the VW. Transits also not that reliable. I have a friend who services a fleet of 50 plus transits and as he puts it, anything that spins round on a transit soon wears out or breaks!!
