Default Porcelain tiles

Hi all,

This is my first post.

I am retiling a bathroom, and the client has bought large porcelain tiles.

I have read other comments, and see I need to prime the walls with good quality primer and used cement based adhesive.

The walls are made of a combination of plasterboard and plywood (marine ply in the shower area). I cannot tank as client won't pay for this.

If I prime all the walls well and put in loads more nails into the plasterboard to secure it better do you think this will suffice (was a new build and I think they budgeted on the nails front!)

All advices greatfully received.

Thanks
