its not easy ,first of all 99% of tilers are apprentise trained and have served the full 4 years ,secondly you will have to know how to wet bed which they wont teach you on a tiling course and is essential . and you will have to be a compentant screeder as all the bathrooms have a waste in the floor area somewhere and about 75% of bathrooms have a wet area shower (very rare to see a shower tray in aus). the standard of tiling inaustralia is very high so to be honest it is going to be very tough to get your foot in the door,but good luck any way. |
