I wrote a post a good while ago Re: Success.

Getting training is only the first step to success. Of course, good ACCREDITED training is the only way to go on that one. Nothing more to say about that.

However, marketing yourself and landing the work is something that training centres cannot teach you to do. This is down to self motivation and the desire to win. Tie this up with a good reputation and your on the way to a lucrative business.

Unfortunately, to many people blame the training centres for their 'lack of work'. Where as infact, they should be looking closer to home as to why the phone is not ringing.....

I must add here that this is not the case for all people!!
